On 16 December 2008, “La Strada-Ukraine” organised seminar “Best practices of prevention trafficking in persons”.

Gained experience in social prevention of trafficking in persons presented participant of all-Ukrainian workshop “Best practices of prevention trafficking in persons” held on 16 December 2008 by International Women’s Rights Canter “La Strada-Ukraine”

The aim of the seminar is to present the best practice of prevention trafficking in persons and to develop recommendations to its implementation.

The seminar resulted in developed recommendations for Lector Group activity organized; trainings for trainers; events for risk group; implementation of special courses and facultative studies on prevention trafficking in persons; use of interactive theatres, shows, games in prevention trafficking in persons.

Representatives of international and non-governmental organizations of Ukraine, working on prevention of trafficking in persons, representatives of governmental institutions took part in the seminar.

Seminar was conducted within Danish programme for prevention trafficking in persons in Eastern and Southern-Eastern Europe and supported by Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
